This article helps fix the error 0xC004F074 that occurs when you activate Windows.
Original product version: Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows Server 2012 R2
Original KB number: 974998
Recently received a message from Windows Activation Technologies stating that 'this copy of Windows is not genuine'. When I checked Computer Properties both Status and Product I.D. Were completed as 'Not Available' I believe I have to reinstate Windows using the I.D. Key which I have, but cannot delete the 'Not available' entry to enter the 'Key'.
Symptom
- My computer is not genuine anymore and I don't know why. Here is the list of all program I try to open without luck. The window doesn't appear. MsDiag - Windows update - Task Manager - Windows installed package. It happens since the last windows update. I even had the option to upgrade to Windows 10 for 2 month and nothing now.
- Tips: If that is not Product Key Finder full version, users only could preview Windows 10 partial product key codes in this part. Even if Windows 10 is running normally on your computer, Windows 10 users could also run iSunshare Product Key Finder to get Windows 10 product key and make a backup. So you can take it no matter you want.
